ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hello! I am Rocky".
I received a head injury in October 2013, that has since been labeled as a traumatic brain injury (TBI).
I have been slowly improving (it has been over five years since the event), but the key is IMPROVEMENT!!!
In addition to my family, I have a service dog (Elsie) that assists me.
*Please know, that I created this site as part of the "new me" development. All the information I include is based on my experiences and perceptions, and I have noted references for facts or information I received directly from other sources.*
I hope you enjoy, but also learn and gain some insight and understanding into some of the struggles a person with TBI faces.
I am hoping that the information I post will help those who are struggling with a TBI know that they are not alone, and that there are others who feel a similar struggle. I don't say the "same" struggle, because we are human and are all different; however, many of the challenges we face are similar, and I think we can learn from each other-
or even lean on each other in times we just need some support and encouragement.
I am always interested in your feedback, and in your story.
